Iowa P.E.O. Project Fund (IPPF) Update

The Iowa P.E.O. Project Fund (IPPF) has been updating you monthly on the status of available grant money.  Annually, IPPF can allocate between 5-8% of our investment income, plus the state dues allocation and individual and chapter gifts, to help needy Iowans with living expenses, medical bills or tuition.  This fiscal year, from April 1, 2023 – March 31, 2024, IPPF budgeted $428,485.  We have been honored to use this amount to award grants to 93 deserving applicants. Thank you to all chapters who have diligently worked with applicants this year!  While we acknowledge the need is great, as stewards of your IPPF, the IPPF Board has determined it cannot exceed the budgeted amount. We must be good fiduciaries and ensure sustainability of the fund for many, many years to come. Therefore, chapters should not seek any additional IPPF candidates for the current fiscal year.  The Board will not be able to consider applications until the start of the next fiscal year on April 1, 2024.  We encourage all chapters to continue to support your past IPPF recipients and all needy families in your communities this holiday season, through your gifts and loving concern.
